Plasma Cutting
Plasma Cutting is an advanced technology to cut steel and other metals using a plasma torch.

At this process an inert gas is blown at high speed out of a nozzle and a simultaneous electrical arc is formed through that gas from there to the surface which is being cut, turning some of that gas into plasma.
The plasma is hot enough to melt the metal which is being cut and moves the molten metal completely away from the cut. This leads to a very clean surface of cutting area. Plasma Gouging is using the same equipment, but uses a different torch configuration and a longer torch-to-workpiece distance, to blow away the metal. It can be used for a wide range of application, including removing a weld for rework.
Our team of field engineers and welding technicans are very expierenced for using this modern applications with its very fine results for various cutting and gouging tasks as per our customers requirements at their on-site locations. Furthermore we offer also Plasma Cutting Machines for hire. Our Focus Plasma Cutting Units for cutting and gouging operates with all electrically conductive materials and are able to cut up to 40 mm thick plates with a speed of 200 to 350 mm/min, depending upon the cutted material. We also provide our customer with the required technical gases. For more and detailed information regarding our Plasma Cutting Services please contact us The use of Plasma Cutting as application has several advantages against other cutting technoligies like Oxy-Fuel, Laser or Water Cutting. Besides a very attractive cost-performance ratio it is able to cut all electrically conductive materials with a very high cutting speed. The heat impact is very low even by cutting of high strength steels, and the cutting results produces a very clean surface without any necessity of aftertreatment on medium and thick plates. Last not least it is without alternative in cutting high alloyed steels as well as aluminium alloys of medium and higher thickness.
