Sling Manufacturing:

We use high quality grade 80 tested alloy steel chains to manufacture all kind of chain slings. All tackles, fittings are pretested as an individual part.

Inspection By End user before use:

Every day, before use, all slings are to be inspected for any damage, wear and tear by a competent person. If service conditions are severe, additional inspection during operation shall also to be provided. Damaged, worn-out, defective slings should be immediately removed from the service.

Rejection Criterion for slings: (As Per ASME B30.9):

Superficial cracks or small breaks in the chain.

Heavy wear, or gouges on chain contact points.

Bent, deformed, stretched or twisted links or end/ joint connections.

Corroded links or end terminals.

Insufficient pivoting capacity of the links with each other.

Cracks in welded joints of chain.

# Maintenance, Storage of slings:

Safety Practices:

1. Slings those are damaged or defective shall not be used.

2. Sling legs shall not be kinked.

3. Slings shall not be shortened with knots or any non standard devices like bolts, pins etc

4. Slings shall not be loaded beyond their rated safe working load limits.

5. Basket hitches shall be used only in case of balanced loads in order to avoid slippage and an accident thereof.

6. Slings shall be provided with suitable padding / corner protection device to protect them from sharp edges.

7. Strictly avoid shock loading of slings.

8. Any sling shall not be pulled from under a load, when the load is rested over the sling.
